Why should I pay for private school?
- Because St. Mary's offers smaller class sizes than the public schools, we tend to have higher test scores. Because families are investing in their child's education, we tend to have more involved families which leads to community atmosphere. And because we can offer a faith-base education, we can incorporate Christian believes and morals into everything that we do.

Are the teachers licensed?
-
Definitely! All of the teachers have at minimum a bachelor’s degree and many hold master’s degrees and all classroom teachers have a valid Wisconsin teaching license. Our teachers must meet the same requirements as established by the state of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. In addition, they must also meet the additional requirements of the Diocese of Superior.

Is the transition from St. Mary's to High School difficult?
-
We hear from alumni and teachers at the high school that students from St. Mary's School do very well in high school. St Mary's alumni are often the school academic leaders, involved in extra-curricular activities. The confidence and skills they gain at St. Mary’s last a lifetime!
