Fundraising / Fellowship
Opportunities

Recycling:
This program is very
important to reaching our Fundraising goal. On the third
Saturday of each month, the community delivers papers to our truck parked
opposite UBC on Knowles Avenue. You accept the papers, cardboard,
and cans and sort it accordingly. Another part is weekly and involves
picking up paper and cardboard at businesses and delivering them to the
truck. Finally, help in stacking papers inside the truck (a.k.a.
trailer spotting) is also needed on an on-going daily basis. “Many
hands make light work.”

The students at St. Mary’s
will have a major role in making this event successful. Students
and all adults who want to participate will choose to run, walk, or
bike in this event. You will choose how many miles you will go and
then seek pledges from friends, neighbors, relatives etc. There will
be an incentive program for both adults and students participating.
Each participant who receives $50.00 or more in pledge money will get an
event t-shirt. The Marathon It is Co-Sponsored by The Knights of
Columbus.

Hoops Mania
This St. Mary’s Fundraiser
sells tickets to those who enjoy the sport of basketball. Participants
receive a ticket which is assigned different teams. Tickets are sold
during the winter months. If your team wins on any particular week,
you win also, receiving a monetary reward. St. Mary’s receives %70
or more of the profit on each ticket sold. This particular fundraiser
helps to support different educational opportunities at our school.
