New Richmond 4K Program

St. Mary’s School is a fully accredited Preschool- 8th
Grade Catholic School. Our 4K Program offers an environment
that encourages children’s exploration and curiosity for their
cognitive, intellectual, emotional, and social development.
Our school provides a strong family environment which welcomes and
encourages family and community involvement. Our 4K has two licensed
4K teachers in separate classrooms that are limited to 13 children
at a time in each room. This small teacher student ratio helps
children transition more easily into Kindergarten. Our 4K
program is unique because it offers busing to school for the AM
session and departure from school in the PM session. We also
work cooperatively with other grades by sharing activities such as
having the older children read to us. There is a Brain
Gym/S.M.A.R.T. Room which helps children get ready to learn through
movement. Both classrooms have interactive boards which involve
hands on learning. The facilities beyond the classroom include a gym
with age appropriate equipment and an outdoor playground. We offer
before school care from 6:30 am to 8am, a morning and afternoon
Wrap-Around Program complete with family style meals and after
